Day 1 Depart USA
Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Europe.

Day 2 En route
Arrive in Europe early this morning. Later today you will board your flight to Nairobi, arriving in the late evening. After clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The Stanley Hotel

Day 3 Nairobi
Spend the day exploring the sights of this modern city the largest in East Africa. Our tour will include the Elephant orphanage, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen House and lunch at the

Karen Blixen Coffee Gardenns.

Day 4 Amboseli National Park
Travel south this morning by air to Amboseli National Park resting in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will arrive in time for a mid morning game drive before getting to your Serena lodge. This afternoon you will depart for your afternoon game drive in one of Kenya’s most fragile ecosystems. Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge

Day 5 Amboseli National Park
A full day affords time for both morning and afternoon game drives with an optional visit to a traditional Maasai Village or a nature walk guided by a local naturalist.

Day 6 Samburu Game Reserve
This morning you will fly to  Samburu Intrepids Camp. You will enjoy a game drive en route from the airstrip and arrive at your lodge located along the Ewaso Nyiro River in time for lunch. There will be time to relax before departing on your afternoon game drive.

Day 7 Samburu Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives will give you more opportunity to enjoy the unique game species which are found only north of the Equator. Following lunch, we offer an optional visit to a Samburu village where you will learn about these pastoral people who are related to the Maasai. Samburu Intrepids Camp

Day 8 Sweetwaters
Travel south after you breakfast to Sweetwaters Tented Camp which lies in the heart of the privately owned 24,000 acre Sweetwaters Game Reserve. You will enjoy magnificent views across the game-studded plains while relaxing on the veranda of your tented accommodations. Tented camps are one Kenya’s most magical experiences. The camp offers optional night game drives which are a unique experience and possible only in privately owned reserves. Sweetwaters Tented Camp

Day 9 Maasai Mara
Travel by air from Nanyuki to the fabulous Masai Mara National Reserve. Maasai Mara is the most spectacular and best known wildlife sanctuary in the world and offers breathtaking landscapes, ranging from grassy plains, rounded hills, dense tropical forest and acacia woodlands. As the northern tip of the Great Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, it is home to the 'Big Five' of Africa: Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, and Leopard. Day 10-11 Maasai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drives will give you the opportunity to see the amazing variety of game and animal behavior that makes this a premier destination. While in the Mara, you may want to have an optional trip in a hot-air balloon which gives you a unique view of the plains game. At the end of the flight, you land on the plains where a champagne breakfast is served before you return to your lodge. Another optional excursion is offered which will take you via bush plane from the Mara to Lake Victoria where you will take breakfast followed by a tour of a local fishing village. Day 12 Maasai Mara ~ Nairobi
This morning we will return to Nairobi by air where you will have a day room at the Stanley Hotel plus the remainder of the day at leisure for last minute shopping or sightseeing. Early this evening, you will depart  for your farewell dinner and then transfer to the airport to board your flight to Europe and then home.
