Day 1 Depart USA
Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Europe.

Day 2 En route
Arrive in Europe early this morning. Later today you will board your flight to Nairobi, arriving in the late evening. After clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 3 - Nairobi
Spend the day exploring the sights of this modern city the largest in East Africa. Our tour will include the Elephant orphanage, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen House and lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Gardenns.

Day 4 Amboseli National Park
Travel south this morning to Amboseli National Park resting in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will arrive in time for lunch and, after a short rest, depart on your first game drive in one of Kenya’s most fragile ecosystems.

Day 5 Amboseli National Park
A full day affords time for both morning and afternoon game drives with an optional visit to a traditional Maasai Village or a nature walk guided by a local naturalist.

Day 6 Mount Kenya
Your journey takes you to the beautiful Mountain Lodge on the slopes of Mount Kenya. The only ‘tree hotel’ ever to be built on the slopes of Kenya’s legendary Mount Kenya, Mountain Lodge offers a matchless game viewing opportunity while combining a glorious panorama of mountain vistas with the primordial splendors of an ancient rainforest.

Day 7 Samburu
Today, continue your journey north to Samburu National Reserve. You will enjoy a game drive en route and arrive at your lodge located along the Ewaso Nyiro River in time for lunch.
Following a short rest, you will depart on your afternoon game drive.

Day 8 Samburu
Morning and afternoon game drives will give you more opportunity to enjoy the unique game species which are found only north of the Equator. Following lunch, you will have the opportunity to visit a Samburu village and learn about these pastoral people who are related to the Maasai.

Day 9 Sweetwaters
Travel south once more to Sweetwaters Tented Camp which lies in the heart of the privately owned 24,000 acre Sweetwaters Game Reserve. You will enjoy magnificent views across the game-studded plains while relaxing on the veranda of your tented accommodations. Tented camps are one Kenya’s most magical experiences. The camp offers optional night game drives which are a unique experience and possible only in privately owned reserves.

Day 10 Lake Nakuru National Park
Your southward journey takes you to the Great Rift Valley and Lake Nakuru. Famous ornithologist Roger Tory Peterson defined it as “the greatest bird spectacle on earth”. Thousands of flamingoes create a sea of pink across the surface of the lake. Your afternoon game drive will also bring you close to white rhinoceros, cape buffalo, zebra, lions and baboon.

Day 11-13 Maasai Mara
Travel out of the Rift Valley and into the fabulous Maasai Mara National Reserve.Maasai Mara is the most spectacular and best known wildlife sanctuary in theworld and offers breathtaking landscapes, ranging from extensive grassy plains, rounded hills, dense tropical forest and acacia woodlands. As the northern tip of the Great Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, it is home to the 'Big Five' of Africa: Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, and Leopard. It is also an exceptional place to see birds. During your visit, you will experience one of the great spectacles on earth: The Great Migration!

During this time of year, over a million wildebeest and thousands of zebra and antelope migrate across the Mara River from Tanzania in search of food and water. While in the Mara, you may want to enjoy a trip in a hot-air balloon which gives you a unique view of the plains game. At the end of the flight, you land on the plains where a champagne breakfast is served before you return to your lodge.

Day 14 – Maasai Mara – Nairobi
This morning we will enjoy a final game drive on our return to Nairobi where you will have the remainder of the day at leisure for last minute shopping. Early this evening, you will depart for your farewell dinner and then transfer to the airport to board your flight for Europe.
