Day 1 Depart USA
Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Europe.

Day 2 En route
Arrive in Europe early this morning. Later today you will board your flight to Nairobi, arriving in the late evening. After clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will be met by our naturalist and transferred to your hotel. Stanley Hotel

Day 3 Nairobi
Spend the day exploring the sights of this modern city the largest in East Africa. Our tour will include the Elephant orphanage, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen House and lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens. Stanley Hotel

Day 4 Tsavo East National Park
Travel south this morning to Tsavo East National Park arriving in time for lunch. After time to relax, you will depart on your afternoon game drive. You will enjoy a visit to the game blind next to the watering hole. The blind provides an outstanding photographic opportunity and you may stand eye-to-eye with an elephant! Voi Safari Lodge

Day 5 Tsavo East National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives give you the opportunity to see the famous  red elephants of Tsavo. The fine red dust that is unique to this ecosystem gives them their special color. You will also en counter, lion, kudu, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and over 500 species of birds. Voi Safari Lodge

Day6  Amboseli National Parks
Depart for Amboseli via Tsavo West for a game drive visiting Mzima springs home to many hippos and crocodiles. You have lunch at Kilaguni lodge there after proceed to Amboseli arriving in time for your afternoon game drive. Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge

Day 7 Amboseli National Park
A full day affords time for both morning and afternoon game drives with an optional visit to a traditional Maasai Village or a nature walk guided by a local naturalist. Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge
 

Day 8 Aberdare National Park
Today you will travel north to the Aberdares Mountains where you will be delighted with your overnight stay at the Ark. The Ark is famous for it’s unique architecture and watering hole where you will be entertained by the amazing variety of wildlife that visit throughout the day and night. The game blind  provides exceptional photographic opportunities. Ark Game Lodge

Day 9 Samburu
Today, continue your journey north to Samburu National Reserve. You will enjoy a game drive en route and arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Following a short rest, you will depart on your afternoon game drive. Samburu Simba Lodge

Day 10 Samburu
Morning and afternoon game drives will give you more opportunity to enjoy the unique game species which are found only north of the Equator. The gentle and shy gerenuk are a particular favorite. Following lunch, you will have the opportunity to visit a Samburu village and learn about these pastoral people who are related to the Maasai. Samburu Simba Lodge

Day 11 Sweetwaters
Travel south once more to Sweetwaters Tented Camp which lies in the heart of the privately owned 24,000 acre Sweetwaters Game Reserve. You will enjoy magnificent views across the game-studded plains while relaxing on the veranda of your tented accommodations. The camp offers optional night game drives which are a unique experience and possible only in privately owned reserves.

Day 12 – Lake Nakuru National Park
Your westward journey takes you to the Great Rift Valley and Lake Nakuru. Thousands of flamingos create a sea of pink across the surface of the lake. Your afternoon game drive will also bring you close to white rhinoceros, cape buffalo, zebra, lions , baboon and quite possibly a leopard. Lion Hill Lodge

Day 13-14 & 15 Maasai Mara
Travel out of the Rift Valley and into the fabulous Masai Mara National Reserve. Maasai Mara is home to the 'Big Five' of Africa: Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, and Leopard. Mara is famous as the site of one of the great spectacles on earth: The Great Migration which tarts in July continuing through October. You may want to enjoy a trip in a hot-air balloon which gives you a unique view of the plains game. At the end of the flight, you land on the plains where a champagne breakfast is served before you return to your lodge. Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Day 16 – Maasai Mara ~ Nairobi
This morning we will enjoy a final game drive on our return to Nairobi where you will have the remainder of the day at leisure for last minute shopping and sightseeing. Early this evening, you will depart for your farewell dinner and then transfer to the airport to board your flight to Europe and then home.
