Day 1 Depart USA
Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Europe.

Day 2 En route
Arrive in Europe early this morning. Later today you will board your flight to Nairobi, arriving in the late evening.

After clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Stanley Hotel

Day 3 - Nairobi
Spend the day exploring the sights of this modern city the largest in East Africa. Our tour will include the Elephant orphanage, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen House and lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Gardenns.

Day 4-5 Amboseli National Park
Travel south this morning to Amboseli National Park resting in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro.

You will arrive in time for lunch and, after a short rest, depart on your first game drive in one of Kenya’s most fragile ecosystems. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives and an optional visit to a traditional Maasai Village or nature walk with a local naturalist. Amboseli Serena Lodge

Day 6 Lake Naivasha-Crescent Island
Today travel northwest to Lake Naivasha. Following lunch, you will travel across the lake via motor boat where you will enjoy your close proximity to the hippos bathing on the shores of the lake. Upon arrival at Crescent Island you will have an amazing experience as you walk among all of the major species of hoof stock which reside in Kenya.

Day 7-8 Maasai Mara
Travel out of the Rift Valley and into the fabulous Masai Mara National Reserve. Maasai Mara is the most spectacular and best known wildlife sanctuary in the world and offers breathtaking landscapes, ranging from extensive grassy plains, rounded hills, dense tropical

forest and acacia woodlands. As the northern tip of the Great Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, it is home to the 'Big Five' of Africa: Lion, Elephant, Buffalo,Rhino, and Leopard. It is also an exceptional place to see birds. During your visit, you will experience one of the great spectacles on earth: The Great Migration!

During this time of year, over a million wildebeest and thousands of zebra and antelope migrate across the Mara River from Tanzania in search of food and water. While in the Mara, you may want to enjoy a trip in a hot-air balloon which gives you a unique view of the plains game. At the end of the flight, you land on the plains where a champagne breakfast is served before you return to your lodge. Mara Serena Lodge

Day 9 Maasai Mara – Nairobi

This morning we will enjoy a final game drive on our return to Nairobi where you will have the remainder of the day at leisure for last minute shopping or sightseeing. Early this evening,we will depart for your farewell dinner and then transfer to the airport to board your flight to Europe and then home.
